fischer’s farm

Grow. Cook. Share.

Cultiver.  Cuisinier.  Partager.

With a strong commitment to building a sustainable source of food supply for our visitors and guests and ensuring that the local community and future generations appreciates the beauty of the natural world as well as our responsibility to it, we are committed to the responsible use of Clos de Gaye’s land.

In the coming years, we aim to plant and grow an abundant fruit orchard, develop a market garden with seasonal vegetables, install bee hives for honey production, sustainably manage the forests on the property, and build a healthy ecosystem of educational, culinary and tourism activities that support our agricultural production.

We envision a farm-to-table restaurant, a shop selling our own and other local producers goods, a community space for events and visionary projects, an educational centre for youth and underserved communities, and sustainable tourism to financially support our objectives.

We aim to employ local people to manage the Farm, and have a particular vision of supporting low-income and marginalized communities to source work and career development opportunities to both achieve our sustainability goals and empower the potential of individuals involved in the project.

‘We must cultivate our garden’
