We are beyond delighted to be hosting UK-based award-winning theatre company Chickenshed, for a week’s residency during our annual International Festival for the Arts and Social Change and our Healing for Humanity Summer Camp. We are hosting workshops for parents and children, activities for charities and associations and a participatory community performance on the field of Fischer’s Farm. Read on to learn more!

Chickenshed is an inclusive theatre company built on 50 years of practice working with children, young people and adults of all backgrounds, abilities and lived experiences. Their work is rooted in the belief that theatre can be a powerful tool for social change. Their aim is to create spaces where difference is not just accommodated, but actively valued. They bring together a wide range of learning styles, perspectives and experiences to build communities of practice that model a more inclusive world.

Come and join families and friends from across the world with award-winning inclusive theatre company Chickenshed for our annual Healing for Humanity Summer Camp programme. Spend the morning and afternoon in skills-building workshops, building your confidence, creativity and imaginative muscle, whilst working together to prepare a short presentation for our Friday evening community performance.

We Me You - A Participatory Performance and Picnic Evening with Chickenshed Theatre Friday 24th July

An evening like no other! Be prepared to be inspired, energised and moved by the fantastic Chickenshed Theatre Company in this culmination of a week’s residency at Clos de Gaye. Bringing together our international and local participants who have been creating an evening’s entertainment for you, an opportunity to come together with others and explore what it means to live together in our beautiful world.

Bring a picnic or order one of our hampers, make yourself comfortable on the field at Fischer’s Farm, and enjoy an unforgettable evening. English and French spoken.

Come and join families and friends from across the world with award-winning inclusive theatre company Chickenshed for our annual Healing for Humanity Summer Camp programme. Spend the morning and afternoon in skills-building workshops, building your confidence, creativity and imaginative muscle, whilst working together to prepare a short presentation for our Friday evening community performance.
